Advice Books
Advice books can be so difficult and disappointing, but sometimes you just don't know what to do with your children. That is why I loved...
Babyhood by Penelope Leach
"Stage by stage, from birth to age two: how your baby develops physically, emotionally, mentally; how your baby thinks feels, learns and expresses needs and wants"

Children's Books
2009 Caldecott Medal Winner
"Richly detailed black-and-white scratchboard illustrations expand this timeless bedtime verse, offering reassurance to young children that there is always light in the darkness. Krommes' elegant line, illuminated with touches of golden watercolor, evoke the warmth and comfort of home and family, as well as the joys of exploring the wider world." - American Library Association
1991 Caldecott Honor Book
This is a fantastic picture book. I highly recommend it. It is unique and compelling.
One Frog Too Many, Frog Goes To Dinner by Mercer Mayer
We love Frog. There are at least six Frog books. My favorite is One Frog Too Many.
